Top 6 best Telenet subscriptions 2026
The cheapest Telenet subscription with television costs 76.00 euros a month outside any promotion: Internet Basic at 56.00 euros and Telenet TV at 20.00 euros, surveyed on 11 October 2026. Telenet's page nevertheless displays "from 51 euros".
Updated 11 October 2026
The 25.00 euro gap comes from a discount that lasts six months, not twelve. At Telenet, the step up therefore arrives on the seventh bill, not the thirteenth. Second change to know about: the ONE and ONEup bundles have left the shop window. Since May 2026 you build your subscription block by block, starting from one of three internet tiers. I rank six combinations with television here on the non-promotional rate, and I break down the price of each block, because Telenet no longer prints it in one place on its sales page. A reminder before the table: Telenet's network covers Flanders, part of Brussels and a few Walloon municipalities. Test your address before comparing.
How much does a Telenet subscription with television cost?
From 76.00 to 106.00 euros a month outside any promotion for the six combinations ranked here, surveyed on 11 October 2026.
Without a mobile plan, three formulas. Internet Basic with Telenet TV costs 76.00 euros. Internet Standard with Telenet TV costs 85.00 euros. Internet Turbo with Telenet TV costs 105.00 euros.
With a mobile plan, I keep three more. Basic, Telenet TV and a 15 GB mobile subscription: 86.00 euros. Standard, Telenet TV and the same 15 GB mobile plan: 95.00 euros. Standard, Telenet TV and unlimited mobile: 106.00 euros.
During the first six months, Telenet takes 5.00, 7.00 or 9.00 euros off internet depending on the tier, and 20.00 euros off television. That gives 51.00, 58.00 and 76.00 euros for the three formulas without mobile. The campaign runs from 5 October to 1 November 2026 inclusive, according to the terms read on telenet.be.
Over thirty-six months, the length of time most of the households I equipped kept the same operator, the bill adds up as follows: 2 586.00 euros for Basic with TV, 2 898.00 euros for Standard with TV, 2 946.00 euros for Basic with TV and 15 GB mobile, 3 258.00 euros for Standard with TV and 15 GB mobile, 3 606.00 euros for Turbo with TV and 3 654.00 euros for Standard with TV and unlimited mobile. Between the two extremes, 1 068.00 euros.
One point in Telenet's favour: activation and installation are free, whether you plug in the modem yourself or a technician calls, according to the internet page surveyed on 11 October 2026.
How much does each block of a Telenet subscription cost?
Internet: 56.00 euros a month for Basic, 65.00 euros for Standard, 85.00 euros for Turbo. Television: 5.00 euros for the TV box, 15.00 euros for the channel package. Mobile added to internet: 10.00 euros for 15 GB, 21.00 euros for unlimited. Landline: 2.00 euros.
Telenet does not display this grid on its sales page, where each tier leads to a "Personalise" button. I rebuilt it. The three internet prices and the split of the television price come from the analysis published on 13 May 2026 by Testachats, the Belgian consumer association, when the new range launched. I cross-checked them on 11 October 2026 against Telenet's own page, which advertises internet "from 51 euros" with a 5.00 euro discount on Basic: 51.00 plus 5.00 does make 56.00 euros. The campaign terms also confirm the television split, since they take 5.00 euros off the rental of the first box and 15.00 euros off the basic channel offer.
On contents, Basic advertises up to 200 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload, Standard 500 Mbps and 30 Mbps, Turbo 2.5 Gbps and 100 Mbps. All three come with unlimited data. Where 2.5 Gbps is not yet open, Turbo is delivered at 1 Gbps for the same price in the meantime.
Two useful readings. Moving from Basic to Standard costs 9.00 euros a month, then 20.00 euros more to reach Turbo. And an unlimited mobile plan, sold at 41.00 euros on its own, drops to 21.00 euros once attached to internet. The discount is real, and it ties you in: the day internet goes, mobile returns to its full price.
One line is missing from the sales pages: the extra box. The last published price I found is 7.00 euros a month, in the grid applicable since March 2026 and reported by Testachats on 28 January 2026. Telenet accepts up to four boxes per household. Have the amount confirmed before ordering one for the bedroom.
What happens on the seventh bill at Telenet?
It goes up by 25.00, 27.00 or 29.00 euros a month depending on the internet tier, because two discounts stop on the same day.
The detail, surveyed on 11 October 2026. On Basic with TV, you pay 51.00 euros for six months, then 76.00 euros. On Standard with TV, 58.00 then 85.00 euros. On Turbo with TV, 76.00 then 105.00 euros. Over the first year, the discount is worth 150.00, 162.00 or 174.00 euros. From the second year on, nothing is left of it.
Proximus and Orange grant their discounts over twelve months, which is why I usually talk about the thirteenth bill. Telenet packs its own into six. For you, the consequence is simple: the price to remember is that of month seven, and you pay it within the first year.
The calendar has an advantage nobody will point out to you. BIPT, the Belgian telecoms regulator (IBPT in French), sets out the rule: once the sixth month of a contract has passed, no termination fee may be claimed from a consumer. The discount therefore stops exactly when you become free to leave at no cost. Put the date of the seventh bill in your diary.
Two clauses to read. The promotion requires the number of internet subscriptions on your customer number to increase during the period, which in practice rules out a household that already has Telenet internet. And Telenet reserves the right to bill, after the fact, the difference between the standard price and the price paid if it considers you were not entitled to it.
As for the streaming gift, six months of Netflix Standard or Disney+ Standard at 0.00 euros for example, it then turns into a paid option unless you stop it yourself: 16.99 euros a month for Netflix Standard, surveyed on 11 October 2026. I have seen too many bills swell that way for subscribers who no longer watched anything.
Do you have to pay the 15.00 euros for the channel package?
Not necessarily. Telenet rents out its TV box for 5.00 euros a month without the channels, and it then works as a player for apps.
Testachats described this split on 13 May 2026: for 5.00 euros, the box works as a media player giving access to apps such as Netflix and VRT MAX, the Flemish public broadcaster's platform, with no direct access to channels. For 15.00 euros more, you get the package of more than 90 channels. The association adds that slimmer packages exist but are not offered by default. Ask for them.
The sum. Internet Basic with the box alone comes to 61.00 euros a month, against 76.00 euros with the channels. The gap reaches 180.00 euros a year. Set against the 90 advertised channels, the package costs 0.17 euros per channel, and 0.22 euros once the box rental is counted.
With the package you get more than live television, according to the Telenet TV page surveyed on 11 October 2026: seven-day replay, cloud recording of up to 200 hours kept for one year, and viewing on five screens at once in the app, the box not being counted among those five.
My view as a former installer: the 5.00 euro formula suits a household that already watches everything on demand. It does not suit you if someone at home follows the news, live sport or channel-hops in the evening. And "more than 90 channels" remains a brochure figure. The list changes by region, and a French-speaking household in Brussels does not receive the same package as a household in Antwerp. Check the channel list for your municipality in Telenet's online help before signing.
One last point. Telenet TV requires a Telenet internet subscription. The former box-free formula, TV flow, is no longer offered to new customers according to Testachats. I therefore rank only combinations with a box.
Do the ONE and ONEup bundles still exist?
Not for a new customer. Yes if you already have one, as long as you leave it alone.
Testachats wrote it on 13 May 2026: after five years, the ONE and ONEup formulas leave the catalogue, and existing customers see no change for as long as they do not modify their formula. The association advises them not to switch to the new range. I share that advice, with figures to back it.
The old grid, applicable since 16 March 2026 according to Testachats, showed All-Internet with Telenet TV iconic at 81.00 euros a month. Its current equivalent, Standard with Telenet TV, costs 85.00 euros. That is 4.00 euros more a month, 48.00 euros a year, for a comparable advertised speed. Easy Internet with TV iconic cost 70.00 euros: Basic with TV costs 76.00 euros, 6.00 euros more, but with unlimited data where Easy Internet was capped at 150 GB. At the top of the range, Giga-Internet with TV iconic was moving to 101.00 euros: Turbo with TV stands at 105.00 euros, with an advertised speed rising from 1 Gbps to 2.5 Gbps.
A comparison with the neighbour helps place these prices. Orange charged 82.00 euros for its Livebox Up with Orange TV, up to 500 Mbps and up to 70 channels, surveyed on 5 October 2026. Telenet asks 85.00 euros for 500 Mbps and more than 90 advertised channels. Three euros apart, and a difference that will be decided by the list of channels received at your home and by upload speed: 30 Mbps at Telenet, 50 Mbps at Orange.
If you are on ONE and your bill suits you, do not give in to a migration offer without putting the two amounts side by side, outside any promotion.
Which surveys is this ranking based on?
On the internet and Telenet TV pages of telenet.be surveyed on 11 October 2026, on the two Testachats analyses of 28 January and 13 May 2026, and on a cross-check of standard rates against the grids of three Belgian comparison sites consulted on 10 and 11 October 2026.
I will say it plainly: Telenet's sales page no longer displays a standard price per tier. It gives the speeds, the amount of the discounts and an entry price. The rest sits in the configurator. The rates of 56.00, 65.00 and 85.00 euros are therefore cross-checked, not copied from a single official grid. Verify the total in your basket before confirming.
The rank follows the ratio between the seventh bill and the contents, not price alone. All the ranked subscriptions deliver the same television. I therefore put the cheapest first, because 200 Mbps is enough for several simultaneous video streams, and the Turbo tier last, since very few households have a use for it.
I installed set-top boxes for seven years around Namur, for three operators. The speeds quoted here are maximums, and coverage is checked at the address, not on the map. Telenet's network covers Flanders, part of Brussels and a few Walloon municipalities. Elsewhere in Wallonia, the group sells its fixed offers under the BASE brand, which I will cover in a separate ranking.
The mobile discounts displayed by some comparison sites are not counted: I did not find them in the terms read on telenet.be.
Unauthorised IPTV services do not appear here: they are a legal risk, not a competitor. No link on this page is paid for.
Comparison table
Methodology : Six Telenet combinations with television ranked on the price of the seventh bill, meaning the rate that applies once the six promotional months have run out, weighted by contents: advertised speed, TV box, channel package, mobile. Speeds, discounts, campaign dates (5 October to 1 November 2026), free activation and installation and the contents of Telenet TV surveyed on 11 October 2026 on the internet and Telenet TV pages of telenet.be. Standard rates per tier (56.00, 65.00 and 85.00 euros) and the split of the television price (5.00 euros for the box, 15.00 euros for the package) come from the Testachats analysis of 13 May 2026, cross-checked against the 51.00 euro entry price displayed by Telenet and against the grids of three Belgian comparison sites consulted on 10 and 11 October 2026. The mobile supplement (10.00 euros for 15 GB, 21.00 euros for unlimited) is derived by subtraction between combinations with and without a mobile plan. Thirty-six-month costs assume six months at the promotional price on internet and television, then thirty months at the standard rate, with no price increase and no discount on mobile. The price of the extra box (7.00 euros) and the old All-Internet, Easy Internet and Giga-Internet grid come from the Testachats article of 28 January 2026. Unauthorised IPTV services are excluded on principle. No link on this page is paid for: this site lives on mentions, not affiliation.
